Role Description This is a remote contract role for an Insurance Broker at Family First Life. The Insurance Broker will advise individuals and families on life insurance and retirement protection products, including mortgage protection, final expense, and annuity solutions. Daily activities include assessing client needs, explaining policy options, preparing personalized proposals, and guiding clients through application and underwriting processes. The role involves maintaining ongoing client relationships, conducting follow-up consultations, and ensuring that coverage remains aligned with changing financial and family circumstances. The Insurance Broker will also collaborate with multiple carriers, stay current on product changes and industry regulations, and uphold the company’s commitment to ethical, client-centered service.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, including experience presenting and comparing policies from multiple carriers.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Finance and Retirement Planning to help clients make informed long-term decisions about income protection and wealth preservation.
Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a consultative approach to building trust.
Relevant skills such as sales aptitude, relationship management, and basic proficiency with CRM or client tracking tools are highly beneficial.
Current or eligible state life and health insurance license (or willingness to obtain one promptly) is required or strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage a flexible schedule, and meet performance and compliance standards.
