Role Description The Acquisition Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for driving customer acquisition and portfolio growth for Kotak Mahindra Bank. In this position, the individual identifies potential customers, builds relationships, and promotes appropriate banking products and services to meet acquisition targets. Daily responsibilities include generating leads through various channels, conducting client meetings and presentations, performing basic financial assessments, and ensuring documentation and onboarding processes are completed accurately and in compliance with bank policies. The role also involves collaborating with branch teams, tracking performance metrics, providing feedback on market trends, and maintaining high standards of customer service during the acquisition process.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer acquisition within banking or financial services.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse customer segments.
Ability to analyze customer needs, explain financial products clearly, and support informed decision-making.
Attention to detail and familiarity with basic compliance, documentation, and regulatory requirements in banking.
Comfort working with targets, performance metrics, and reporting tools in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, commerce, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Office and common digital productivity tools; knowledge of CRM or banking systems is beneficial.
Local market knowledge of Ahmedabad and surrounding areas, with willingness to conduct regular field visits.
