Quality Specialist

Role Purpose
Perform consistent, transparent, and impartial quality checks on NIQ product master data across assigned panels and sectors.
Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Global Process Quality standards, controls, tools, and processes.
Provide reliable quality insights that help coding teams address root causes, strengthen data accuracy, and maintain high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily quality checks using automatically generated iQC samples and confirm that reviews are completed accurately and on time.
Apply iQC ratings consistently as documented evidence of quality performance and as a reliable basis for further analysis.
Interpret quality results, identify recurring errors and trends, and highlight risks requiring corrective action.
Partner with relevant global and local coding teams to identify data-quality gaps, agree improvement actions, and monitor progress against timelines.
Promote compliance with global quality standards, operating procedures, and governance requirements.
Recommend practical improvements to quality-control methods, workflows, documentation, and reporting.
Support projects that introduce new quality controls, tools, automation, or process enhancements.
Contribute to investigations and responses relating to internal or external customer quality concerns, where required.
Maintain clear records and communicate findings, actions, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

Quality assurance, operations, process, and project teams
Internal business partners and, where appropriate, external clients.
Required Knowledge and Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of product master data, product coding, quality-control principles, and the end-to-end coding workflow.
Practical experience with iQC or comparable sampling, rating, and quality-monitoring processes.
Sound understanding of Master Data Management (MDM), data-quality standards, and root-cause analysis.
Ability to interpret quality results, identify patterns, and convert findings into clear and actionable recommendations.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and prepare concise quality reports for different stakeholder groups.
English proficiency at B1 level or above, with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and in meetings.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in business, data management, information systems, analytics, quality management, or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in NIQ/GfK point-of-sale or distributor coding, product master data, data operations, or quality assurance. Relevant experience of MI Process Quality team will be preferred over the other skills as well (For Internal applicants).
Strong knowledge of the assigned sector or product category, supported by hands-on coding or quality-control experience.
Demonstrated ability to work with detailed data, follow global standards, and make evidence-based quality decisions.
Strong service orientation, with the confidence to challenge constructively and uphold quality requirements.
Effective communication skills and experience collaborating with stakeholders across teams, locations, and levels of seniority.
