Production Engineer

We're hiring: Production Engineer 🚤
At Hodi Innovations (HIPL), we take a vessel from drawing board to open water for defence and private clients, and we build all of it in Goa. Come be a part of this journey!
We're looking for a Production Engineer to plan, run and deliver builds on the shop floor.
What you'll do:
- Plan and schedule production for each build, from hull lay-up to final outfitting
- Break down drawings and specs into work packages, BOMs and material requirements
- Supervise FRP, fabrication, fitting and outfitting teams on the yard floor
- Run in-process quality checks and maintain build documentation
- Track costs, material consumption and wastage for each vessel
- Enforce yard safety standards on the shop floor
What we're looking for:
- B.E./Diploma in Mechanical / Marine / Production Engineering
- 0–5 years in manufacturing, boatbuilding, shipbuilding, FRP or fabrication (freshers welcome)
- Hands-on, organised, comfortable leading crews
- Willing to work on the shop floor and support sea trials when needed
- Problem solver with an eye for quality and attention to detail
- Preferred: Ability to read technical drawings and knowledge in CAD software
