Role Description The Video Editor – Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The intern will assist with editing raw footage into cohesive videos, including cutting, sequencing, and syncing audio and visual elements. Daily tasks include applying basic color corrections, integrating motion graphics or titles, and ensuring visual consistency with brand guidelines. The role involves collaborating with directors and other team members, organizing media assets, and preparing files for publishing on various platforms. The intern will also support the production team during shoots as needed and contribute creative ideas to improve storytelling and overall video quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and a basic understanding of end-to-end video workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Color Grading to assemble and refine visually appealing content.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for creating titles, overlays, and simple visual elements.
Basic familiarity with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop) is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to follow creative direction while meeting deadlines.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Chennai.
Relevant coursework, personal projects, or a portfolio demonstrating video-related work is preferred.
