Senior Associate - Cloud Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate – Cloud Administrator to support and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. This is an individual contributor (IC) role focused on cloud administration, infrastructure support, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and cloud operations.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in AWS and Azure, with at least one cloud platform as a core area of expertise. The role requires a strong foundation in Linux and Windows administration, web servers, networking, cloud infrastructure, containerization, automation, hybrid cloud environments, and cloud cost optimization.
The candidate will work closely with development, operations, and senior cloud administration teams to ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of cloud environments.
Required Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting Linux and Windows operating systems, Internet-based applications, and web servers.
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Administration, specifically AWS and Azure.
GCP experience is optional.
Hands-on experience with cloud services such as AWS EC2, S3, RDS, ELB, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, SQL, Google Compute Engine, and Google Cloud Storage.
Working knowledge of automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, and/or Bash.
Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, VNET, DNS, and Load Balancers.
Experience working in hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of database management and cloud-based data solutions.
Exposure to Cloud FinOps, cost management, and optimization.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or Google Cloud Certified – Associate Cloud Engineer are preferred.
Good to Have:
Working knowledge of GitLab for version control, CI/CD, and issue tracking.
Familiarity with AI-assisted productivity/engineering tools such as Claude and Gemini.
Basic exposure to collaboration/design tools such as Figma.
Roles & Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and administer cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, scalability, and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
Implement and maintain cloud security protocols and best practices.
Support development and operations teams in deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications and services.
Assist in the design, deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure.
Manage and support cloud services including compute, storage, databases, networking, and load-balancing components.
Automate routine cloud administration and operational activities using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and other automation tools.
Support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Manage and troubleshoot cloud networking components including VPC, VNET, VPN, DNS, and Load Balancers.
Support and maintain hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
Carry out Cloud FinOps activities, including cloud cost monitoring, optimization, and resource utilization reviews.
Participate in regular cloud environment reviews, audits, and infrastructure assessments.
Support database and cloud-based data infrastructure as required.
Collaborate with senior cloud administrators, development teams, operations teams, and other technical stakeholders.
Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies, security practices, automation tools, and industry best practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure reliability, security, performance, and operational efficiency.
