Role Description The News Anchor role at AstroScience Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The News Anchor will present astrology-related news, updates, and informational content on various broadcast and digital channels, ensuring clear, accurate, and engaging delivery. Daily responsibilities include researching and preparing scripts, collaborating with the editorial team on news angles, and conducting live or recorded segments. The role involves interviewing experts, explaining complex astrological topics in an accessible manner, and maintaining a professional on-screen presence. The News Anchor will also support content planning, participate in promotional campaigns, and uphold organizational standards for ethics, accuracy, and viewer engagement.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong reporting and news writing skills, with the ability to research, verify facts, and create clear, concise scripts.
Candidates should possess broadcasting and presenter skills, including confident on-camera presence, voice modulation, and live or recorded program delivery.
Candidates should possess broadcast journalism expertise, including understanding newsroom workflows, editorial ethics, and audience-focused storytelling.
Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional languages is an advantage.
