Senior Azure Data Engineer

About this job:
We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join a global pharmaceutical analytics program focused on building modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise reporting solutions. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)
How you'll make an impact:
Execute the various software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities, including user stories, use cases, software requirements, design, development, and testing;
Implement and maintain software products, ensuring quality and effectiveness;
Develop test plans and test cases for software components;
Design and implement the optimal data pipeline to ingest and orchestrate the data in Azure to fulfill the business requirements.
What makes you a great fit:
Experience with Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Pipelines, and Azure Synapse Analytics, is mandatory;
Expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark, or Spark SQL;
Expertise in developing reports and dashboards in Power BI;
Expertise in troubleshooting performance issues and optimizing the Azure models, reports, and dashboards;
Exposure to working with Cognitive Services, Log Analytics, Function Apps, Logic Apps, and similar services;
Strong analytical skills;
Microsoft Data Engineer certification (Nice to have);
Strong understanding of web technologies, relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL design;
Good communication skills to interact with different stakeholders.
