Role Description
The GLP-1 Dietitian will provide evidence-based nutritional counseling to individuals using GLP-1 therapies, with a focus on sustainable weight management and overall metabolic health. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting virtual consultations, developing personalized meal plans, monitoring client progress, and adjusting nutrition strategies in alignment with medical guidance. The role involves collaborating with Fitty’s internal wellness team, contributing educational content for the WhatsApp community, and offering clear, empathetic support that complements the company’s supplement offerings. The GLP-1 Dietitian will also document client interactions, track outcomes, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of GLP-1 medications and related nutrition guidelines. This is a full-time, remote role.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice to GLP-1 users.
Candidates should possess skills in Nutritional Counseling to deliver clear, supportive, and personalized diet guidance in virtual settings.
Candidates should possess experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy, particularly for metabolic health, diabetes, and related conditions.
Candidates should possess proven capabilities in Weight Management, including designing and monitoring safe, sustainable weight-loss plans.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; registration or licensure as a dietitian/nutritionist where applicable.
Strong communication skills, comfort with telehealth platforms and WhatsApp-based community support, and the ability to work independently in a remote, collaborative environment.
Experience working with clients on GLP-1 therapies or other pharmacologic weight-management interventions is highly beneficial.
