Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Bakery Staff role based in Dehradun. The Bakery Staff member will assist with daily production of gluten-free baked goods, including measuring ingredients, mixing dough and batters, baking products, and monitoring oven times and temperatures. Responsibilities include preparing cookies, bread, and other items according to recipes, maintaining a clean and sanitary work area, organizing inventory, and supporting packaging and labeling of finished products. The role also involves coordinating with team members to meet production schedules, following food safety and hygiene standards, and occasionally interacting with customers or front-of-house staff to ensure product quality and availability.
Qualifications
Experience or strong interest in bakery operations, including working in a Bakery environment and supporting daily production.
Practical skills in Baking and Food Preparation, with the ability to follow recipes and standard operating procedures accurately.
Hands-on experience preparing Cookies, Bread, and similar baked goods, with attention to texture, taste, and presentation.
Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards in a commercial kitchen or bakery setting.
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work early mornings or flexible shifts as required.
Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and follow detailed instructions.
Prior experience in a gluten-free or specialty bakery is an advantage but not required.
High school diploma or equivalent educational background preferred.
