Facilities Manager

About the Role
Tenon Group is looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day facility operations at a client site in Bengaluru.
The role will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, compliant, and efficient facility operations, while coordinating technical services, soft services, vendors, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities.
Oversee MEP services, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire & life safety and related building systems.
Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance.
Coordinate and manage vendors, contractors and service providers.
Monitor housekeeping, technical services and other soft-service activities.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements and client SOPs.
Conduct regular facility inspections and identify operational and safety risks.
Monitor AMC/CMC activities, service schedules and maintenance records.
Review breakdowns, identify RCA and corrective actions, and ensure timely closure.
Prepare and maintain MIS reports, maintenance reports, audit reports and operational records.
Coordinate with clients and internal teams for day-to-day operational requirements.
Monitor manpower deployment, attendance, productivity and work quality.
Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and on-the-job training where required.
Support electrical safety, fire safety, emergency preparedness and mock drills.
Track energy, water and other facility-related consumption and identify opportunities for improvement.
Ensure proper documentation of work orders, checklists, permits and maintenance activities.
Candidate Profile
Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Facilities Management or a related discipline.
Experience in facility management / integrated facility management / building operations.
Good understanding of MEP systems and facility maintenance.
Experience in vendor and client management.
Knowledge of EHS, fire & life safety and statutory compliance.
Good communication, coordination and team-management skills.
Ability to prepare MIS reports and operational documentation.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred.
