Role Description The Assistant Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based at Hindalco’s facility in Sambalpur. The role involves supporting daily plant operations, monitoring equipment performance, and assisting in preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The Assistant Engineer helps implement process improvements, ensures adherence to safety and quality standards, and prepares basic technical reports and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities may include coordinating with senior engineers and shift teams, tracking production or maintenance data, and responding to routine technical issues on the shop floor. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain smooth operations and support ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong technical and analytical skills relevant to engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, or production).

Prior experience or internship in manufacturing, metals, or heavy industry is beneficial but not mandatory.
Willingness to work in shifts as required by plant operations and to learn new technologies and processes.
