Role Description The Assistant Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The role involves supporting senior engineers in planning, executing, and monitoring welding-related projects and production activities. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with equipment setup and maintenance, tracking production parameters, preparing technical documentation and reports, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. The Assistant Engineer will coordinate with cross-functional teams, help troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor, and contribute to process improvements. The position offers practical exposure to welding technologies and manufacturing operations, with opportunities to grow into more advanced engineering responsibilities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a strong foundation in mechanical, production, or related engineering disciplines, with basic understanding of welding processes and industrial safety practices.
Candidates should possess skills in technical documentation, report writing, and the use of common productivity tools (e.g., MS Office) for data recording and analysis.
Candidates should possess problem-solving and analytical skills to support troubleshooting of equipment, process deviations, and quality issues on the production floor.
Candidates should possess teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with supervisors, technicians, and cross-functional departments.
Candidates should possess the ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain attention to detail, and comply with safety and quality regulations.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, production, or equivalent) is preferred; prior internship or industrial training experience in manufacturing or welding environments is an advantage.
