Tech Lead\ Senior Mobile Engineer

About The Role
In this role, you will build and modernize digital solutions for external applicants and beneficiaries.
You will develop secure, scalable native and cross-platform applications for iOS and Android, covering architecture, APIs, offline capabilities, testing, CI/CD, and production deployment.
Responsibilities
Design and develop native and cross-platform iOS and Android applications
Build solutions using Swift, Kotlin, React Native, Ionic, or Flutter
Design modular, reusable components and interactive prototypes
Integrate applications with REST/GraphQL APIs, backend services, and third-party systems
Implement authentication, secure storage, offline capabilities, synchronization, threading, and performance optimization
Work with SQLite, Realm, Firebase, and enterprise databases
Develop responsive, touch-oriented mobile interfaces
Create unit, integration, and UI tests
Integrate mobile builds into CI/CD pipelines
Deploy applications to Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and enterprise channels
Troubleshoot performance, security, and application issues
Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with international technical and business teams
Requirements
EQF Level 7 university degree (typically Master’s level or five years of higher education) in any field
10+ years of IT professional experience
Strong experience with native, hybrid, and cross-platform mobile application development
Strong experience with Ionic, React Native, Flutter, or similar frameworks
Strong Kotlin/Android and/or Swift/iOS development skills
Experience with Android Studio, Xcode, and mobile SDKs
Excellent HTML5 and CSS knowledge
Strong knowledge of progressive web and mobile application architecture
Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs
Experience with SQLite, Realm, or Firebase
Knowledge of synchronization with Oracle or SQL Server
Experience with offline storage, synchronization, threading, performance optimization, touch interfaces, and gesture handling
Knowledge of mobile security, secure data storage, OAuth, and biometric authentication
Experience with Fastlane, App Center, Jenkins, or similar mobile CI/CD tools
Experience with Jira and Git
Experience deploying applications to Apple App Store and Google Play Store
Strong knowledge of security and cloud best practices
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
English or French at B2 level or higher
AWS Certified Developer – Associate or relevant iOS, Android, or cross-platform certification will be a plus
