Role Description The Senior Associate will work full time on-site at Aeddhaas Legal’s office in New Delhi. This role involves managing a portfolio of complex cases, drafting and reviewing pleadings, contracts, legal opinions, and advisory notes, and conducting in-depth legal research across multiple statutes and regulations. The Senior Associate will appear before courts, tribunals, and other authorities as required, and coordinate with clients to understand their objectives, provide updates, and refine strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include mentoring junior associates, collaborating with partners on case strategy, assessing legal risks, and contributing to the firm’s knowledge base and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong legal research and analytical skills, including the ability to interpret statutes, case law, and regulatory frameworks across multiple practice areas.
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, legal notices, opinions, and other transactional and dispute-related documents.
Experience in litigation and dispute resolution, including court appearances, client representation, and case strategy development.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Collaborative mindset with experience mentoring junior team members and contributing to a supportive, high-performance work culture.
LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution; active bar enrollment and license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Prior experience as an associate or senior associate in a law firm or corporate legal department, ideally handling complex, multi-statute matters.
High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a commitment to client service and professional development.
