Interior Design Project Manager

Role Description The Interior Design Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role oversees interior projects from concept through completion, coordinating design development, technical documentation, procurement, and installation. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading space planning and interior design solutions, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, selecting furniture and finishes, and ensuring design intent is maintained throughout execution. The Interior Design Project Manager will collaborate closely with clients, vendors, and on-site contractors, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role also involves regular site visits, progress reviews, and prompt resolution of design or execution issues to deliver projects on schedule.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Space Planning and Interior Design skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into functional and aesthetic solutions.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, and stakeholder communication.
Candidates should possess expertise in Construction Drawings, including preparation, review, and coordination with contractors and consultants.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Furniture selection and layout, including finishes, materials, and ergonomic considerations.
Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office tools.
Strong communication, negotiation, and team collaboration skills, with attention to detail and a solution-focused mindset.
Experience managing residential or commercial interior projects in an on-site capacity; knowledge of local building codes and industry standards is an advantage.
