Role Description The Medical Laboratory Technician role is a full-time, on-site position located in Indore. The technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, and other specimens, following established protocols and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing samples, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting results accurately in laboratory information systems, and assisting in troubleshooting test discrepancies. The role also involves adherence to infection control practices, participation in internal quality checks, and coordination with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support timely and accurate diagnosis. The technician is expected to maintain organized workspaces, follow regulatory guidelines, and support continuous improvements in laboratory procedures.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Medical Technology knowledge and familiarity with Laboratory Medicine principles.
Candidates should possess core Laboratory Skills, including sample collection, processing, and test performance.
Candidates should possess experience in Quality Control, including calibration, validation, and documentation of lab processes.
Candidates should possess proficiency in handling and maintaining Laboratory Equipment safely and efficiently.
Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field from a recognized institution.
Knowledge of basic computer applications and laboratory information systems.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Registration or certification with relevant professional or regulatory bodies, where applicable, is an advantage.
