Role Description The Education Counsellor – UK will provide full-time remote support to prospective students seeking admission to universities and colleges in the United Kingdom. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding students through course and institution selection, explaining UK education pathways, and advising on application requirements, timelines, and admission criteria. The role involves conducting counseling sessions, assessing students’ academic profiles and career interests, and recommending suitable programs based on individual goals. The Education Counsellor will coordinate with internal teams to manage applications, follow up with students and families, and maintain accurate records of counseling activities. The position also requires staying updated on UK education policies, scholarships, and visa guidelines to deliver accurate, current information.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Educational Consulting and Education, with the ability to explain UK academic pathways and institutional requirements clearly.
Demonstrated experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling, supporting learners in making informed study abroad and career decisions.
Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and culturally sensitive interaction.
Knowledge of UK higher education systems, admission processes, and scholarship/financial aid options.
Ability to work effectively in a remote, full-time setting, managing multiple student cases and meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in handling applications and records.
Proficiency with online communication tools, CRM or student management systems, and standard office software.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, International Relations, or a related field; prior experience in overseas education consulting is preferred.
