Role Description The Assistant Manager & Deputy Manager – Direct S2S Channel role is a full-time, on-site position based in Jalandhar I. The role involves managing and growing the Direct S2S (sales-to-sales) channel, including achieving sales targets for life insurance products and ensuring high-quality lead conversion. The person in this role will oversee day-to-day sales activities, support and guide the sales team, monitor performance metrics, and implement sales processes aligned with company standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders, maintaining compliance with regulatory and company policies, and ensuring an excellent customer experience from prospecting through policy issuance. The role also requires regular reporting, market analysis, and contribution to local sales strategies and initiatives.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in life insurance, financial services, or banking.
Strong ability to manage sales channels, drive target achievement, and support field teams.
Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for working with customers and internal stakeholders.
Ability to analyze sales performance data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
Knowledge of life insurance products, regulatory guidelines, and standard sales practices is highly beneficial.
Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office applications, and digital platforms to manage sales activities and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or sales are an advantage.
Demonstrated customer-centric approach, ethical conduct, and commitment to compliance and quality standards.
