Role Description The Full Stack Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications that power the UNIPREP platform. Day-to-day tasks include implementing responsive user interfaces, building and optimizing server-side APIs, integrating databases and third-party services, and ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing systems. The Full Stack Engineer collaborates with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions, participates in code reviews, and contributes to continuous improvement of development practices and architecture. The role also involves monitoring application performance, troubleshooting production issues, and delivering iterative enhancements based on user feedback.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Full-Stack Development, with solid experience in Front-End Development and Back-End Web Development.
Demonstrated experience in Software Development, including designing, implementing, testing, and deploying web applications.
Hands-on skills in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and modern front-end frameworks, ensuring responsive and accessible user interfaces.
Experience with common back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar), RESTful APIs, and database systems (SQL or NoSQL).
Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and basic cloud or containerization concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker) is beneficial.
Ability to write clean, maintainable code, follow secure coding practices, and work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
