Team Lead, Content Innovation & Visualization
Role Purpose
The Content Innovation and Visualization team is focused on cultivating a storytelling- and insights-driven culture, aimed at implementing scalable solutions that remain aligned with S&P Global’s strategic objectives. The team brings together data, design, workflows, business intelligence platforms, and emerging technologies to create integrated, user-centric content and visual experiences that strengthen the S&P Global brand, drive speed and innovation, and enable customers, colleagues, and partners to interact seamlessly with insights.
The core mandate of the team is to connect data and content with our customers in an integrated way to support Ratings’ evolving digital business model, while enhancing transparency, relevance, and how businesses engage with insights. As we advance our enterprise-wide data and digital strategy, this role will operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
Role Description
This is an associated policy role that combines hands-on delivery with people leadership and operational coordination. The successful candidate will be expected to operate as a senior member of the team, contributing directly to complex and high-priority deliverables while supporting team leadership responsibilities.
· Own end-to-end responsibility for assigned deliverables, ensuring quality, accuracy, timeliness, and stakeholder satisfaction.
· Utilize appropriate tools and technologies, including Power BI, presentation design tools, AI-enabled solutions, and digital communication platforms, to enhance delivery efficiency and business impact.
· Contribute directly to the development of presentations, dashboards, reports, visual communications, newsletters, videos, and other content and visualization products supporting business priorities.
· Translate business information, data, and research into clear, engaging, and actionable narratives tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.
· Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with S&P Global CIV stakeholders and internal teams to ensure effective collaboration.
· Develop sufficient familiarity across Content Innovation & Visualization capabilities to support cross-functional collaboration and effectively communicate team progress, priorities, and challenges to GAC management.
· Support onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Background & Experience
· 7-12 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data visualization, presentation design, communications, content development, research support, or related disciplines.
· Demonstrated experience delivering business-facing presentations, dashboards, reports, visual communications, or other stakeholder-focused content.
· Experience leading projects, coordinating teams, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across global and cross-functional teams.
Must Have
· Ability to contribute directly to delivery while supporting team leadership and operational coordination.
· Deep expertise in either:
o Insights & Analytics, including reporting, dashboarding, business analysis, and data-driven storytelling; or
o Design & Visual Storytelling, including presentation design, executive communications, and visual content development.
· Strong storytelling and communication skills with the ability to transform complex business information into clear, compelling outputs.
· Experience developing executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, or communication products.
Good to Have
· Experience balancing hands-on execution with people leadership responsibilities.
· Understanding of ratings, financial services, research, or analytics-driven environments
· Experience with Power BI, business intelligence platforms, reporting solutions, automation, or analytical workflows.
· Familiarity with HTML/CSS beyond newsletters for broader digital design applications
· Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, content creation, insight generation, or workflow efficiency.
· Experience developing templates, documenting design standards, or contributing to scalable design systems
· Working knowledge of SQL, automation, workflow tools, or analytical technologies.
