About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

The Chief of Staff is the CEO's leverage: you extend the CEO's reach across strategy, execution, and governance. The role has a dual mandate. Roughly two thirds is driving strategic projects, supporting business cases, and preparing decisions for the Executive Committee and the Board. Roughly one third is governance: serving as Secretary to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors, and safeguarding the company's key governance documents and processes.
You will sit at the center of the company as the trusted advisor to the CEO, with direct exposure to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors from day one..
Key Responsibilities
Strategy and execution
Drive strategic projects and initiatives sponsored by the Executive Committee, from framing through execution to measurable outcomes
Contribute to strategy development, business planning, organizational development and investor readiness, including the underlying analysis and financial modeling
Prepare high-quality internal and external presentations, business cases, and decision papers for the Executive Committee and the Board
Governance
Act as Secretary to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors: shape agendas with the CEO and the Chair, ensure quality and timeliness of meeting materials, take minutes, and track decisions and action items to completion
Act as Corporate Secretary: maintain key governance documents and statutory processes, and coordinate inputs to annual reporting, compliance, and risk management alongside the responsible functions
Executive office
Design and run the leadership meeting cadence and offsites, and support the CEO's priorities as required
At least five years’ experience and an outstanding track record of effectively providing services and executing complex projects in high-paced multi-stakeholder environments. This could be at a top-tier management consultancy, in investment banking or corporate development, or as a chief of staff in a fast-paced environment
Master's degree in business administration, finance, or a quantitative discipline such as engineering or physics
Strong command of strategy development, business planning, and financial analysis and modeling
Exposure to corporate governance or board processes is a strong asset
Skills and mindset
Results-driven with a record of flawless execution; pragmatic without compromising on quality
Structured project manager with sharp attention to detail and the persistence to drive initiatives to completion
Excellent communicator, able to prepare and deliver formal and informal presentations to senior audiences inside and outside RepRisk
High emotional intelligence and low ego: you influence without formal authority and earn trust across all levels of the organization
Intellectually honest and curious, getting up to speed quickly in new areas of business and technology
Resilient and self-managed, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities under pressure
Absolute discretion and integrity in handling sensitive information
Advanced expertise in MS365 and effective use of AI tools
Full professional proficiency in English
Motivated by RepRisk's mission to provide transparency on business conduct and help deliver better outcomes for companies, people, and the planet
What success looks like :
Executive Committee and Board meetings are consistently well prepared, with concise meeting notes delivered promptly and disciplined follow-through requiring only a quick review and approval by the CEO or Chair
Strategic projects are advanced independently, completed successfully, and handed over effectively to line management; the CFO and CEO receive high-quality support.
Feedback from Executive Committee members and relevant stakeholders confirms that the Chief of Staff is a trusted and effective partner who improves decision-making and execution
The salary range for this role is 155.000 CHF -165.000 CHF.
