Senior Python/Azure Developer
Experience: 5-7 Years

Job Type: Contract
Must Have:
• 6+ years of professional software development, with strong Python (FastAPI / Django).
• Hands-on Azure in production: AKS or App Service, VMs, networking (VNet, NSG, private endpoints), Storage, Key Vault, Entra ID.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions using YAML pipelines.
• Build and run the Azure platform: AKS, Virtual Machines, Azure SQL / SQL Server on VMs, Storage, Key Vault, Container Registry, Azure DNS, Front Door and Communication Services.
• Solid Python fundamentals: data types, functions, OOP, exceptions, modules, virtual environments and pip.
• Write infrastructure as code (Bicep or Terraform) and Helm charts so environments can be created repeatably.
• Build and maintain CI/CD in Azure DevOps: YAML pipelines, self-hosted agents, automated tests, environment approvals and safe, reversible deployments.
Good To Have:
• Terraform or Bicep, Helm, cert-manager, Azure Front Door / WAF.
• Azure certifications: AZ-204, AZ-104, AZ-305 or AZ-400.
