Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Maintenance Engineer role based in Kolkata. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation. Daily activities include performing routine and preventive maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, coordinating corrective actions, and documenting maintenance activities. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting installation and commissioning of electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures. The engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting upgrades, optimizing maintenance schedules, and reducing downtime.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance Engineering, with practical experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity, including electrical circuits, equipment, and safety practices.
Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance, including planning, executing, and optimizing maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.
Relevant diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Working knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on-site with operations and maintenance teams.
Prior experience in industrial or commercial facilities maintenance in Kolkata or similar environments is an advantage.
