Role Description The Accounting Specialist is a full-time, hybrid role responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position involves accounting for digital assets and fiat, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, assisting with financial statement preparation, and maintaining organized documentation. The Accounting Specialist will work with accounting software to process transactions, support month-end and year-end close activities, and collaborate with team members on reporting and compliance tasks. The role also includes responding to internal and client inquiries, identifying variances or issues, and contributing to process improvements that increase efficiency and reliability in financial workflows.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and the preparation and interpretation of Financial Statements.
Proficiency with Accounting Software and accurate processing of Journal Entries (Accounting).
Solid Analytical Skills for reviewing data, identifying discrepancies, and supporting decision-making.
Relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations, preferably in a consulting or multi-client environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent practical experience (CA Intermediate etc).
Working knowledge of accounting standards and basic tax concepts; familiarity with compliance requirements is expected.
Prior exposure to crypto (Digital Assets) and US accounting is a plus.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a remote setting.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures.
Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) for data analysis and reporting.
