Role Description The Embedded Engineer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining embedded software for a variety of hardware platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and testing code for microcontrollers, integrating software with hardware components, debugging and troubleshooting embedded systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine product requirements. The role also involves contributing to Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, optimizing system performance, and maintaining documentation for designs and implementations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, requiring regular interaction with hardware and lab equipment as part of project execution.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software, with experience in low-level coding for microcontrollers or similar devices.
Proficiency in Software Development practices related to embedded systems, including version control, testing, and documentation.
Ability to effectively Debugging embedded applications and diagnose hardware-software interaction issues.
Knowledge of Internet of Things (IoT) concepts, architectures, and communication protocols, and ability to apply them in embedded projects.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Familiarity with common embedded development tools (compilers, debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and real-time operating systems (RTOS) is beneficial.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Clear written and verbal communication skills for documenting designs and discussing technical concepts with colleagues.
