The platform offers affiliate discounts, special offers, and ongoing support, enabling founders to streamline operations and reduce the time spent on vendor selection. Toolkit For Founders is building a modern, founder-centric ecosystem that simplifies critical operational decisions and helps businesses scale efficiently.
Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading the overall technology vision, strategy, and execution for Toolkit For Founders. The CTO will oversee the design, development, and scaling of the platform, guiding software engineering efforts, setting architectural standards, and ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing engineering teams, prioritizing and planning projects, collaborating with product and business stakeholders, and aligning technology initiatives with company objectives. The CTO will also drive innovation, evaluate and implement new tools and frameworks, establish best practices for software development and deployment, and support continuous improvement across the technology organization.
Qualifications
Strong background in Software Development and Product Development, with experience building and scaling modern web platforms or SaaS products.
Proficiency in IT Strategy and Architecture, including designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems aligned with business goals.
Demonstrated Project Management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex initiatives on time and within scope.
Experience leading and mentoring distributed engineering teams, fostering an inclusive, high-performance culture in a remote environment.
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, security best practices, and data privacy requirements.
Ability to partner effectively with product, operations, and commercial teams, translating business needs into technical solutions.
Previous leadership experience in a startup or growth-stage company is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
