Role Description The Senior Design Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Faridabad. This role involves leading the design and development of automation and robotic systems, including concept generation, detailed engineering, and product validation. The Senior Design Engineer will create and review 3D models and technical drawings, collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams, and ensure designs meet functional, safety, and quality requirements. Daily responsibilities include working closely with manufacturing and project teams to support prototyping, testing, and implementation, as well as optimizing existing designs for performance and cost efficiency. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, coordinating with suppliers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong design engineering skills, including concept development and detailed design for automation and robotic systems.
Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and their application to industrial machinery and automation solutions.
Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
Solid understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals relevant to control systems, sensors, and actuators.
Experience in product design, including prototyping, testing, and design optimization for manufacturability and reliability.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Prior experience in industrial automation, robotics, or special-purpose machinery design is highly beneficial.
Ability to interpret technical specifications and standards, and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.
