SAP PP/QM Functional Consultant
Role Summary
Lead SAP PP/QM solution design, configuration, and implementation for manufacturing execution, warehouse automation, and AGV integration projects.
Drive end-to-end process design, testing, deployment, validation, and stakeholder management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP PP processes including Material Master, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Production Versions, MRP, Process Orders, and Production Confirmations.
Design and optimize production planning, material consumption, inventory management, and manufacturing execution processes.
Configure SAP QM components including Inspection Types, Inspection Plans, Sampling Procedures, Usage Decisions, Quality Notifications, and Batch Release processes.
Define and implement integration between SAP PP/QM and external manufacturing, quality, and warehouse automation systems.
Design automated material staging, replenishment, and production supply processes leveraging AGV/WCS solutions.
Define automated material movement triggers between warehouse and production environments.
Ensure material availability, batch traceability, and seamless production-to-warehouse integration.
Prepare and execute SIT, UAT, IQ, OQ, and PQ validation activities.
Coordinate end-to-end testing, defect management, retesting, cutover, go-live, and hypercare support.
Conduct business process workshops, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and stakeholder alignment.
Collaborate with business teams, automation vendors, ABAP, integration, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions.
