Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Moirang. The Sales Associate will assist customers in identifying and selecting products, answer inquiries, and provide product information in a clear, friendly manner. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the sales floor, maintaining product displays, processing transactions, handling cash or digital payments, and ensuring accurate billing. The role also involves monitoring stock levels, coordinating with the team to replenish inventory, and keeping the store clean and organized. The Sales Associate will support promotional activities, collect customer feedback, and help strengthen long-term customer relationships through attentive service and follow-up.
Qualifications
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully and professionally with diverse customers.
Basic sales and retail operations skills, including product demonstration, upselling, and handling point-of-sale systems.
Good communication skills in relevant local languages and English, with clear verbal and written abilities.
Basic numeracy and cash-handling abilities, including accurate billing, payment processing, and record-keeping.
Ability to work on-site in Moirang on a full-time schedule, including weekends or extended hours as required.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach to maintaining store cleanliness and product presentation.
Willingness to learn about new products, company procedures, and customer service best practices.
Prior experience in retail, sales, or customer-facing roles is an advantage but not mandatory; secondary school education or above is preferred.
