Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule all Public Address-General Alarm (PA-GA) and ICSS internal data transmission network and maintenance activities according to maintenance policy/program and availability of spare parts and materials, equipment and tools.
Minimize equipment downtime, disruption to production operations, and ensure the safe operability of the plant.
Review maintenance specifications based on internal and international standards, best practices, legislative and statutory requirements, and internal policy and regulations.
Analyse approved PA-GA systems and instrument data transmission network work requests and define the work to be executed.
Establish necessary resources for each work (manpower, materials, tools, contractors, etc.).
Check the availability of materials with respect to established work dates.
Execute weekly work scheduling and distribute tasks to concerned units.
Independently or with contractors, check and eliminate faults in ICSS data transmission networks, public address systems (including loudspeakers network, beacons, microphones), structured cabling systems, fibre optics, and data network equipment such as fibre-optic cables, patch panels, routers, and network switches.
Supervise and coordinate contractor activities and analyse work feedback to improve maintenance plans, efficiency, and processes.
Apply knowledge of international standards relevant to the oil industry for telecom network and PA-GA systems.
Evaluate technical offers for services or materials.
Ensure internal and contractor equipment and tools are adequate, suitable, and kept in working order.
Demonstrate personal engagement in HSE, respecting policies and recommendations, and attend required training.
Requirements
Technical diploma in Electronic, Telecom, or Automation branch.
Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Experience in instrument, telecom, and PA-GA system installation and maintenance.
