1. About Our Client:

It delivers integrated energy solutions including energy management, carbon management, smart energy infrastructure, distributed energy resources, and carbon-free mobility. The team collaborates with government, commercial, and industrial clients to implement impactful projects and strategies tailored to their business needs.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Marketing Specialist supports the Energy Transition team by developing and executing marketing and communication campaigns aimed at diverse stakeholders. This role enhances program visibility and engagement through creative design, copywriting, social media management, and event coordination. The position contributes to the organization’s mission by effectively conveying technical concepts and promoting energy efficiency initiatives.
3. Responsibilities:
Ensure marketing materials follow brand guidelines and regulatory standards.
Develop and implement marketing strategies for energy efficiency programs.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on campaign materials.
Coordinate events and outreach activities for target audiences.
Analyze market trends and customer insights to inform decisions.
Produce marketing copy and manage digital marketing channels.
Track and report on campaign effectiveness.
Create visual designs to communicate program messages.
Develop white papers and case studies highlighting program successes.
Meet with staff and partners to discuss project requirements.
Foster a collaborative work environment.
Comply with quality, safety policies, and OSHA regulations.
4. Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
Marketing experience, preferably in energy or utilities.
Proficiency with design software (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) and MS Office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent project and time management.
Ability to execute marketing, education, and outreach strategies.
Knowledge of design and visual communication principles.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Data analysis skills to inform design concepts.
Self-starter, organized, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Experience with CRM/marketing automation and social media tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational levels.
Desired:
1+ years in energy efficiency industry.
Understanding of energy efficiency technologies such as lighting, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The pay range for this position is $31.25 to $36.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, skills, geographic location, client requirements, market competitiveness, and internal equity.
