Cyber Security Engineer

We’re Hiring: Cybersecurity Engineer – Fully Remote
We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Engineer with 5+ years of experience, preferably in consulting environments, to join enterprise cybersecurity projects across MSOC, SOC/MXDR and cloud environments.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
• Manage and tune WAF, IDS/IPS and perimeter security solutions
• Monitor and respond to security incidents in SOC/MXDR environments
• Implement and manage SIEM platforms, including rules, use cases and alert analysis
• Perform Vulnerability Assessment & Management and remediation
• Support Threat Intelligence, Threat Hunting and Incident Response
• Implement security controls across Azure, AWS and GCP
• Contribute to Cyber Security Awareness and continuous security improvement
• Collaborate with internal teams and enterprise clients
🔹 Requirements
• 5+ years of experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer
• Strong knowledge of WAF, IDS/IPS and SIEM
• Experience with technologies such as Imperva, F5, Cloudflare, AWS WAF, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel or Elastic
• Experience in MSOC / MXDR environments
• Knowledge of Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7 or similar vulnerability management tools
• Experience with Azure, AWS and GCP security
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CIS Benchmarks and NIST
• Fluent Italian and good English
• Strong client orientation and teamwork skills
⭐ Nice to have
• Experience integrating AI into SOC processes, including security incident triage, SOAR automation, SIEM event correlation, UEBA and threat hunting
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP or Cloud Security certifications
