As a Senior Data Platform Engineer, you’ll directly shape Ebury’s core data infrastructure, transforming raw data into a reliable, scalable asset for teams worldwide.
You will architect robust, open-source-friendly frameworks and establish data governance that directly fuels our strategic global growth.

The team
You’ll join our Data Platform team in our Madrid office through a hybrid setup (4 days in-office, 1 day remote), where daily collaboration sits at the heart of daily operations.
The engineering culture champions open-source principles, transparent problem-solving, and ongoing skill development through supported training and certifications.

You're a good fit if...
Hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL drives your approach to data transformation and dimensional modeling.
Direct experience includes building and scaling data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions).
Solid understanding of data engineering fundamentals, such as slowly changing dimensions or graph databases, shapes your architectural decisions.
A naturally curious mindset fuels continuous learning within a fast-paced fintech environment.
Clear communication in English complements a strong commitment to team collaboration (Spanish is a bonus).
