Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Engineer role based in Gurugram. The Electrical Engineer will design and review electrical systems for industrial applications, including power distribution and control panels, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing electrical drawings and documentation, performing load calculations, selecting appropriate components, and coordinating with mechanical, production, and quality teams. The role involves diagnosing and resolving electrical issues on equipment and installations, supporting commissioning and testing activities, and optimizing system performance and energy efficiency. The Electrical Engineer will also participate in safety assessments, prepare technical reports, and support continuous improvement initiatives in the electrical domain.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Electricity and Electrical Engineering, with the ability to apply core principles to industrial systems.
Proficiency in Electrical Design, including schematics, layouts, and selection of electrical components.
Knowledge of Power Distribution systems, including panel design, cable sizing, and protection devices.
Understanding of Power Systems behavior, fault analysis, and system reliability considerations.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Experience with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD or similar) and basic electrical calculation tools.
Familiarity with electrical safety standards, national codes, and best practices in industrial environments.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial projects in Gurugram or similar settings is an advantage.
