Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Dentist role based in Madurai. The Dentist will provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of preventive, restorative, and minor surgical procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canal treatments, crowns, and basic periodontal care. Daily responsibilities include conducting thorough patient examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests and radiographs, educating patients on oral hygiene and treatment options, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role also involves collaborating with dental assistants and other staff to ensure a smooth patient flow, adherence to infection control and safety protocols, and timely follow-up care. The Dentist is expected to uphold high standards of clinical quality, communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented workplace.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong clinical dentistry skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative procedures, and basic endodontic and periodontal care.
Candidates should possess expertise in patient assessment, including taking medical and dental histories, interpreting radiographs, and managing common dental emergencies safely.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of infection control, sterilization practices, and adherence to clinical safety and regulatory guidelines.
Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills for explaining treatment options, gaining informed consent, and building trust with diverse patients.
Candidates should possess good organizational and record-keeping skills, including accurate charting, documentation, and time management in a busy clinical setting.
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent from an accredited institution; valid dental license/registration to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
Prior experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training and willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
