Role Description As a Printed Circuit Board (PCB) Design Engineer intern at Kybu Innovations, you will support the design and development of PCBs for intelligent safety products, working closely with the hardware and embedded engineering teams. Daily tasks include creating circuit schematics, assisting with board layout, validating designs against electrical and RF requirements, and collaborating on design reviews. You will help prepare documentation, support prototype builds, and participate in testing and troubleshooting to ensure reliable performance under real-world conditions. This is an internship role with a hybrid work arrangement, based in Nagpur with flexibility for some work-from-home activities, depending on project needs and team coordination.
Qualifications
Circuit Design and Analog skills for developing and analyzing electronic schematics and safety-related hardware.
Electrical Engineering fundamentals to understand power, signal integrity, and component selection in embedded and IoT systems.
Board Layout experience, including placement and routing considerations for compact, reliable PCB designs.
Radio Frequency (RF) knowledge to support wireless communication modules, antennas, and RF performance optimization.
Familiarity with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle or similar) and basic lab equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to follow design guidelines and safety standards.
Current enrollment in or completion of a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Interest in embedded systems, IoT, and safety-focused products; prior project or internship experience in hardware design is a plus.
