Role Description
The Interior Designer will work on-site in Ahmedabad in a full-time capacity, collaborating with the design team to develop and execute luxury interior concepts for hospitality, commercial, and residential projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating space plans, preparing design presentations, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) aligned with project vision and brand standards. The role involves producing construction drawings and detailed documentation, liaising with architects, contractors, and vendors, and monitoring on-site work to ensure design intent and quality are maintained. The Interior Designer will participate in client meetings, incorporate feedback, maintain project timelines, and support all stages from concept development to installation and handover. Attention to detail, strong aesthetic judgment, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team are essential.
Qualifications
0-1 years experience in interior design
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Demonstrated proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to develop functional, aesthetically refined layouts.
Strong skills in preparing and reviewing Construction Drawings and technical documentation for execution on-site.
Hands-on experience with FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including luxury finishes, furniture, and accessories.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, D5, Photoshop) and strong visual presentation skills.
Experience in luxury interiors, hospitality, commercial, or high-end residential projects is highly preferred.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines on-site.
