Role Description The Packaging Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar, responsible for overseeing daily packaging operations for brass valves and fittings. This position coordinates packaging staff, assigns tasks, and monitors workflow to ensure orders are packed accurately and dispatched on time. The supervisor ensures packaging materials and methods meet quality requirements, maintains compliance with company standards, and collaborates with production and warehouse teams to support smooth operations. The role includes training team members on packaging procedures, enforcing safety guidelines, tracking packaging performance, and reporting any issues or process improvements to management.
Qualifications
Supervisory skills to lead packaging teams, allocate work, and monitor performance.
Quality control and quality assurance skills to ensure packed products meet company specifications and standards.
Strong communication and training skills to guide team members and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
Experience in packaging operations, preferably in manufacturing or industrial products.
Knowledge of safety practices and basic inventory handling procedures.
Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of a diploma or degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field is beneficial.
Prior experience in valve, fittings, or metal components industry is an added advantage.
