Art Director – D2C / E-commerce Brand

About the Role
We are looking for a Design Lead / Creative Lead who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution. This is a high-ownership role for someone who understands how design impacts customer understanding, communication clarity, brand perception, engagement, and conversions across digital platforms. You will work closely with Growth, Marketing, Content, and Leadership teams to shape the visual direction of the brand across Amazon, the website, ads, packaging, social media, and other customer touchpoints. Beyond execution, we are looking for someone who can identify creative opportunities, solve communication challenges through design thinking, and contribute strategically to brand and business growth. You will be stepping into a phase of real growth, with real ownership to build the creative function from the ground up.
What You'll Own :
● Lead the creative direction and visual identity of the brand
● Lead and oversee creative execution across Amazon, the website, ads, packaging, email, and social media
● Improve communication clarity, engagement, and conversion through design
● Partner with Growth and Marketing teams to drive performance-oriented creative strategy
● Build scalable design systems, workflows, and quality standards
● Lead an in-house creative team and manage external agency partners for performance marketing creatives
● Brief, direct, and review video and motion content
● Bring strategic thinking and creative problem-solving beyond just execution
● Leverage modern AI tools and evolving creative workflows to improve speed, scalability, and efficiency What We're Looking For :
● 4–8 years of experience in creative or design roles
● Strong portfolio demonstrating both creative thinking and execution capability
● Experience with D2C, e-commerce, wellness, consumer, or lifestyle brands preferred
● Strong understanding of conversion-focused and communication-driven design
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and modern creative workflows
● Experience managing or collaborating with teams, freelancers, and agency partners
● Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear visual communication
● High ownership mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-moving startup environments
● Proven ability to adapt and work proactively with AI-driven creative workflows, automation, and scalable design systems
