Role Description The Medical Data Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and organizing clinical and operational data from multiple hospital systems. The Medical Data Analyst will perform statistical analysis, develop reports and dashboards, and translate complex data findings into clear insights for medical and administrative teams. Daily tasks include validating data accuracy, monitoring key performance indicators, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with clinicians and management to inform evidence-based decisions. The role may also assist in implementing data standards, improving data workflows, and supporting compliance and audit requirements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret complex clinical and operational information and draw meaningful conclusions.
Candidates should possess Data Management skills, including data collection, cleaning, validation, and maintenance of databases or data warehouses.
Candidates should possess Data Analytics and Data Analysis skills to build reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support hospital decision-making.
Candidates should possess Statistics skills to apply appropriate statistical methods and conduct quantitative analyses on medical and operational data.
Proficiency with data tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly beneficial.
Understanding of healthcare workflows, medical terminology, and hospital information systems (EHR/HIS) is an advantage.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams are required.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or related discipline is preferred.
