Role Description The assistant Mechanical Engineer & store manager is a full-time, on-site position based in T Narasapuram. In this role, the team member supports mechanical equipment maintenance, assists with machine design improvements, and works with engineering teams to implement efficient systems for farm operations. Daily responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining machinery, coordinating minor repairs, supporting installation projects, and documenting technical issues. The position also involves managing the store inventory, tracking stock levels of spare parts and supplies, organizing materials, and ensuring accurate records of incoming and outgoing items. The role requires close collaboration with farm supervisors and technical staff to keep equipment functioning reliably and materials readily available for ongoing operations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Mechanical Engineering and Machine Design.
Candidates should possess skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and related design tools.
Candidates should possess skills in Project Management for planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks.
Candidates should possess skills in Research and Development (R&D) for process and equipment improvement.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Experience with equipment maintenance in agricultural or industrial settings is an advantage.
Strong organizational and inventory management abilities for store operations.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Capacity to work on-site, adapt to a farm environment, and follow safety standards.
