Client is hiring a temporary Network Project Coordinator to support a network infrastructure project across multiple sites. The role is focused on coordinating service provider upgrades and keeping the work on schedule. We are looking for someone who stays organized, communicates well with both technical and non-technical people, and follows up consistently to keep projects moving. This is not an engineering position, but the coordinator should understand enough about networking to grasp the scope of the work, ask useful questions, and track dependencies accurately.
Key Points:
Ownership of the project lifecycle – End-to-end responsibility from initiation to closure.
Coordinating solution partners/vendors – Managing external partners, telecom providers, OEMs, or implementation vendors.
Process ownership and improvement – Defining, managing, and optimizing project processes.
Order Management – Tracking network orders, circuit provisioning, equipment orders, and delivery milestones.
Coordinating with internal teams – Working with Network Engineering, Operations, Security, Infrastructure, Procurement, and Business stakeholders.
Managing multiple teams simultaneously – Driving cross-functional project execution and resolving dependencies.
Project coordination and governance – Scheduling, status reporting, risk management, issue tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate service provider circuit and equipment upgrades across multiple sites, tracking timelines and deliverables through completion.
Act as the main point of contact for local site contacts to schedule work windows and confirm each site is ready.
Work with the network engineering team and program manager to set and adjust site priorities based on business needs and provider availability.
Review the current network topology and learn the architecture well enough to coordinate the work and track dependencies.
Follow up with service providers on order status, open requirements, provisioning dates, and escalations.
Keep project documentation current, including status trackers, site lists, and provider contacts.
Give regular status updates to the engineering lead, program manager, and infrastructure manager, and raise risks or blockers early.
Run coordination meetings and record action items, owners, and due dates.
Site survey coordination: Schedule and track site surveys with the Service Partner, follow up on survey status/details, and collect completed deliverables — routing them to the network engineering lead and project sponsors.
MDF/IDF status tracking: Check and report on MDF/IDF readiness at each site, flagging standardization needs to engineering.
Procurement coordination: Work with engineering on procurement needs and manage/track the procurement team's status on hardware orders to ensure equipment arrives in time for install windows.
Day-of-install ownership: Own the install-day logistics: serve as the live point of contact for site issues, and triage/route problems to the correct engineering or service team in real time.
Managed circuit migration tracking: Explicitly reference tracking the transition from ad-hoc to fully managed ISP circuits (new circuit installs at each site)
Required Qualifications
Strong communication skills, including strong written and verbal English proficiency.
Strong organizational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to manage several projects at once.
Ability to set priorities and work independently with minimal oversight.
Working knowledge of network topologies, including Layer 2, Layer 3, and edge devices.
Previous experience in project management and organizational change management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience coordinating telecom or ISP projects such as circuit installs, upgrades, and migrations.
Familiarity with project tracking and collaboration tools.
Experience working across sites in multiple locations.
Working familiarity with MDF/IDF concepts and wireless site-survey deliverables, not engineering-level, just enough to know what "done" looks like when reviewing a deliverable.
PMP, CAPM, or an equivalent project management certification.
