Networking and CCTV Technician (Structure Cabling)

Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Networking and CCTV Technician (Structure Cabling) based in Halol, with some work-from-home flexibility for tasks such as documentation, remote monitoring, and support coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and configuring network infrastructure, structured cabling, and CCTV systems at client sites, as well as testing, labeling, and maintaining cables and equipment. The role involves diagnosing and resolving network and CCTV issues, performing routine inspections, and supporting upgrades or expansions to existing systems. The technician will work with project managers and other team members to plan site work, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and maintain accurate records of installations and service activities. Customer interaction is an important part of this role, including explaining technical issues in clear terms and ensuring minimal disruption during onsite work.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Network Administration and Network Infrastructure to install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, access points, and structured cabling.
Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose connectivity issues, resolve CCTV faults, and provide timely onsite and remote assistance.
Candidates should possess skills in Network Security to implement basic security practices such as secure configurations, access controls, and safe handling of surveillance data.
Relevant experience in structured cabling (copper and fiber), CCTV camera installation, NVR configuration and cable management best practices.
Ability to read basic network diagrams, follow installation standards, and use hand tools and test equipment safely.
Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a field team.
Comfort with client-facing communication and the ability to explain technical information in simple, professional language.
Diploma or certification in Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field; industry certifications in networking or security are an advantage.
