Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Production Manager role based in Indore. The Production Manager oversees day-to-day production operations, ensuring that output meets quality, safety, and delivery standards. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, assigning tasks, monitoring workflow, and resolving operational issues to minimize downtime. The role involves coordinating with procurement, quality, and logistics teams, maintaining accurate production reports, and supporting process improvements. The Production Manager also leads and develops production staff, promotes adherence to safety and compliance requirements, and contributes to cost optimization and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience in production or manufacturing management, including daily shop-floor supervision and workflow coordination.
Strong skills in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet production targets and deadlines.
Knowledge of quality standards, safety regulations, and basic lean or continuous improvement practices.
Ability to analyze production data, prepare reports, and use common productivity or ERP tools.
Effective leadership and people-management skills, including coaching, conflict resolution, and team motivation.
Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Production Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in a similar on-site production role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment in Indore or nearby regions.
