Role Description The Machine Learning Engineer will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business and engineering problems in a remote, full-time capacity. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and implementing algorithms, building and training models (including neural networks), and performing data analysis and pattern recognition to improve automation solutions. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models into production systems, optimize performance, and ensure reliability and scalability. Additional tasks include documenting technical work, conducting experiments, monitoring model effectiveness, and contributing to continuous improvement of data pipelines and tools. The role also involves staying current with advancements in machine learning and related fields to apply best practices and emerging techniques.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science and Algorithms, with the ability to design efficient and scalable solutions.
Experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for building and optimizing machine learning models.
Proficiency in Statistics and data analysis techniques to interpret results and validate model performance.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and programming languages such as Python.
Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment pipelines.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage priorities, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in industrial automation or related domains is a plus, along with an interest in applying ML to real-world engineering challenges.
