Role Description The Chemical Engineering Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dehradun. The intern will support day-to-day laboratory operations, including preparing samples, assisting with chemical and process tests, and recording observations and results in accordance with established procedures. Responsibilities include working with chemical engineering staff on process evaluations, maintaining lab equipment and workspaces, and helping ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The intern will collaborate with team members to analyze data, contribute to basic reports or presentations, and communicate findings clearly to supervisors. This role offers hands-on experience in applied chemical engineering within a testing and quality assurance environment.
Qualifications
Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering skills, with a foundational understanding of core principles and laboratory applications.
Analytical skills to interpret test results, troubleshoot basic issues, and support data-driven decision-making.
Communication and Presentation skills to share findings, prepare simple reports, and collaborate effectively with the laboratory team.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Basic knowledge of laboratory safety practices, standard operating procedures, and quality control concepts.
Ability to work on-site full-time, manage multiple tasks, and follow instructions with attention to detail.
Proficiency with common productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing) for data entry and documentation.
