Position Summary
We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented Financial Analyst - Treasury & Cash Flow to support treasury operations, cash forecasting, liquidity analysis and financial reporting.
The role covers direct and indirect cash flow forecasting, monitoring actual cash performance against forecast, and explaining key variances and drivers to support treasury and business decisions.
The ideal candidate has a strong finance and accounting foundation, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to turn large financial datasets into clear, actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury & Cash Management
Support day-to-day treasury activities and global cash management processes.
Monitor cash balances, cash movements, liquidity and funding needs across entities.
Analyze historical and projected cash movements to identify trends, risks, surplus cash and opportunities for efficient cash utilization.
Support treasury reporting and periodic management reviews.
Cash Flow Forecasting
Prepare and maintain direct cash flow forecasts, including customer collections, vendor payments, payroll, taxes, capital expenditures, intercompany settlements, and other operating cash flows.
Prepare and analyze indirect cash flow forecasts, reconciling operating performance to cash generation.
Work closely with AR, AP, Payroll, FP&A, Accounting and other Finance teams to obtain and validate forecast inputs.
Compare actual cash flows against forecast, explain material variances, and improve forecast accuracy through ongoing review of assumptions and historical trends.
Support short- and medium-term liquidity forecasting and scenario analysis.
What You'll Bring to Numerator
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or a related field.
Approximately 4-6 years of relevant experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting, Controllership or Corporate Finance.
Strong understanding of liquidity management and both direct and indirect cash flow forecasting methodologies.
Solid grounding in financial statements, working capital and accounting fundamentals, including accruals, prepayments, AR, AP and balance sheet movements.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF formulas, data analysis, reconciliation techniques and handling large datasets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in a multinational or global finance environment.
Exposure to ERP and financial reporting systems (NetSuite, Oracle or similar), treasury management systems, banking platforms or cash management tools.
Knowledge of Power BI, Power Query or other data visualization/automation tools is a plus.
Experience working with multiple currencies and international entities is advantageous.
