Role Description The Java Fullstack–Angular role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining fullstack web applications using Java on the backend and Angular on the frontend. Responsibilities include implementing robust APIs, integrating front-end components with backend services, applying design patterns and best practices, and ensuring application performance, security, and scalability. The person in this role will collaborate closely with designers and product teams to translate UI/UX concepts into functional features, troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and participate in continuous improvement of the development process. The role also includes writing clean, testable code, maintaining documentation, and contributing to deployment and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Software Development and Programming, with experience in Java-based fullstack applications and modern Java frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Jakarta EE and related enterprise technologies for building scalable backend services and web applications.
Practical knowledge of Microservices architectures, including designing, developing, and integrating distributed services.
Ability to apply Design Patterns and software engineering best practices to create maintainable, modular, and efficient code.
Proficiency in Angular (and related front-end technologies such as TypeScript, HTML, CSS) for building responsive user interfaces.
Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to work in a fast-paced, design-focused environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
