Your Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced PL/SQL Application Developer to join a team working on demanding software solutions within the telecommunications sector, particularly in a BSS/OSS environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing, maintaining and enhancing applications based on Oracle PL/SQL
Analyzing, designing and implementing new requirements and features
Performing functional testing and supporting overall software quality
Developing and improving automated testing procedures
Contributing to requirements engineering and requirements analysis
Analyzing existing applications and designing appropriate technical solutions
Optimizing applications, tools, processes and technical documentation
Working on customer projects with direct customer interaction
Supporting projects throughout the entire development lifecycle — from requirements gathering and analysis through design and implementation to integration and testing
Participating in technical discussions, workshops and meetings
Supporting the continuous improvement of development and delivery processes
Your Profile
You are a structured, responsible and independent professional with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Ideally, you bring:
A degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in a similar role
Strong expertise in Oracle PL/SQL
Solid experience in software development and application lifecycle management
Good knowledge of software analysis, design and testing
Experience with test automation is an advantage
Strong analytical and conceptual skills
Good planning and organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly
Confidence in leading or contributing to technical discussions and meetings
Very good written and spoken German and English
Experience in the telecommunications sector and/or with BSS/OSS systems is an advantage
A highly independent, reliable and customer-focused working style
